Raat ki seej khali khali hay
Dekh, woh suba hone wali hay!
 Mere dil se teri nigahon tak
Dard ne rah kiya nikali hay!

Hay pare hade aasman se kiya?
Sab feza apni dekhi bhali hay
 kah rahi hay chamak sitaron ki
Dard ki raat dhalne wali hay!

Jo na kehni thi baat, kah aye
Aur jo kehni thi woh chupa li hay
 Aik taraf dil tha, aik taraf dunya
Hum ne donon se cizar mila li hay

Aankh walon k wasty, manzar
Aik rozan hay, aik jali hay!
 Phir wohi aansoon ki barish hay
Phir wohi dil ki khushak sali hay!
 phelti ja rahi hay kosey qazha
Dil pe kis ne nigah dali hay!!!
