Tutjayena bharam hot hilau kese

Haal jaisa b hai logo ko sunaoo kese

Phool hota to tere darpe sajaye rakhta

Jukhm lekar teri dheliz pe aaoo kese

Jisne mere dil ko toda jisne muje barbad kiya

Mene uss bedard sanam ko marte dum tak yaad kiya

Pher-e-hasti me hame paar uterne na diya

Humto to marte the magar aap ne marne na diya

Baat marne thi jalim ki adaa dikhla gayi

Apne kunchese zanaje ko gujarne na diya

Dil-e-naada tuje huwa kya hai

Aakhr is dard ki dawa kya hai

Tujko mujse wafa ki hai ummid

Jo nahi janta wafa kya hai

Chaman se kon chala hai khamosiya lekar

Kali kali tadap utthi hai siskiya lekar

Duwaye mangraha tha jo mere marneki

Wo ro raha hai zanaje pe hichkiya lekar

Dil b tuta khusi b ruth gayi

Har tamanna ne saans tod diya

Kese gujregi jindagi meri

Usske gumne b saath chod diya

Yuhi jilenge tera pyar mile ya na mile

Garmi-e-sola-e-rukhsaar mile ya na mile

Dil liye sher-e-mohabbat me chala aaya hu

Ab koi is ka kharidaar mile ya na mile

Jisne mere dil ko toda jisne muje barbad kiya

Mene uss bedard sanam ko marte dum tak yaad kiya
