Woh ishq jo hum se ruth gaya

Ab uska haal baataye kya

Koi mehar nahi koi kehar nahi
Phir sacha shere sunaye kya

Ek hijar jo humko laahak hai
Ta deer use doharayen kya

Woh zehar jo dil mein utaar liya
Phir uske naaz uthaye kya

Ek aag gham-e-tanhai ki
jo sare badan mein pheel gayi
jab jism hi sara jalta ho
phir daman-e-dil ko bachaien kya

Hum nagma sara kuch ghazloon ke
hum surat gar kuch khwaaboon ke
be-jazba-e-shoq sunaien kya

koi khwaab na ho tu bataein kya
