Ek pal soo baras pe bhari hai

Yeh azal se abad tak ka safar

Kis qadae bedili se jari hai

Dekh hamdam yeh piyar ki bazi

Kitni mahnat se main ne hari hai

Meri aankhon ka kuch qasoor naheen

Teri surat hi aisi piyari hai

Aaa shab_e_gham main tera gham banton

Tue bhi tanhaiyon ki mari hai
