wo ik shaks he muun phair k jane wala

tere hotay hue ajati thi dunya sari

aaj tanha hun to koi nahi anay wala

muntazir kis ki hun tooti hui dehleez pe me

kon aye ga yahan, kon hay anay wala

me ne dekha hai baharon ko chaman me jaltay hue

he koi khuaab ki taabeer batanay wala

tum takaluf ko bhi ikhlaaq samjhtay ho faraz

dost hota nahi har haath milanay wala
