Apne bhi hain woh begane bhi
Aey chand bata kiya samjheen unheen
Khushiyan aur bhi hain verane bhi
Yeh sach hay nazare aaj hameen
Kho janey ki dhawat detey hain
Ham apni pyaas re saqi le tuj ko
Amanat detey hain
Go zulfoon k badal bhi hain
Aur aankhon k paymane bhi
Guse main bhi hain aur pyaar bhi hay
Ekraar bhi hay inkaar bhi hay
Is pyaar ko tum kiya samjho ge
Yeh phool bhi hay aur khaar bhi hay
Jab shama ka daman jalta hay
Jal jatey hain parwaney bhi
Kuch tum ne kahi kuch ham ne kahi
Lo phir bhi adhouri baat rahi
Dil apna ghawahi deta hay
Yunhi kismat jo sath rahi
Ek din pourey ho jayeen ge
Yeh pyaar bharey afsane bhi
