Kuch to tanhayi ki ratoon main sahara hota
Tum na huwe na sahi zikar tumara hota
 Zindahi kitni musarat se guzari yarab
Aish ki tarah agar gham bhi gawara hota
 Gham_e_ ulfat jo na milta gham_e_ hasti milta
Kisi surat to zamane main guzara hota
 Kis ko fursat thi zamane k sitam sahne ki
Agar na us shokh ki aankhon ka ishara hota
 Koy humdard zamane main na paya
Dil ki hasrat hi rahi koy hamara hota
