Ajnabi hai to mere zehan mein rehta q hai
woh jo pathar hai to sheeshon ka maseeha q hai
 woh hawa hai to guzer jaye hawaon ki tarhan
woh samunder hai to thehra rahey behta q hai
 mere angan mein nahi koi umeedon ka gulab
phir yeh mausam mere angan mein utarta q hai
 jiske chehre pe saji jhooth ki tehreerein hain
Dil Usi shakhs k waadoun se behelta q hai
 yeh mera dil yeh masoom yeh anjaan sa dil
phir najane q uske naam se dharakta q hai
