This is a pair of ruby slippers believed to have been worn by Judy Garland in the 1939 classic film 'The Wizard of Oz'.  California auction house Profiles in History said the slippers - one of four known surviving pairs made for the 1939 movie - are believed to have been worn by Garland's Dorothy when she clicks her heels to return home to Kansas near the end of the film, and could bring an estimated $2-3 million at auction.

A controversial memento of the death of Osama bin Laden has gone on sale. The 'Obama Kill Osama' figurine features the US president standing triumphantly over the body of bin Laden. Obama has a machine gun slung over his shoulder and one foot on his victim's chest. Osama is depicted with a single gunshot to the forehead, eyes rolled back and his tongue hanging out. The limited edition $129 keepsake includes speech bubbles that allow you to write a message of your choice.

An art installation entitled 'REDDRESS' designed by Korean artist Aamu Song is pictured at York Hall, in east London. REDDRESS is an installation in the form of a colossal red dress. Made from over 550 metres of wool fabric, the dress is worn by a performer who will climb a concealed staircase to immerse herself into the material. Reaching  20 metres in diametre, the dress can accommodate up to 238 people within the gigantic pockets of its folds. REDDRESS will be exhibited in London from September 22 to 25, 2011.
